How we rate
Every company score on PlatformsReviews is the mean of verified user star ratings, from one to five. Nothing on this page is generated by an algorithm that guesses quality. The number is an average of what reviewers actually submitted, and it moves when reviews are added or removed.
Two numbers, read together
Each profile shows the average rating and the count of reviews behind it. The count is not decoration. A four and a half average from four reviews and the same average from ninety reviews describe very different levels of confidence. PlatformsReviews keeps both visible so readers weigh the evidence rather than the headline figure alone.
Which reviews count
A review is included only after it passes the review guidelines. Submissions that read as recovery scams, refund solicitations or contact-harvesting are removed from both the visible page and the structured data. Duplicate text posted across several companies is treated as a single suspicious pattern and filtered. Removed reviews stop contributing to the average immediately.
Recomputation
When a review is published or taken down, the company average, the review count, the star display and the aggregate rating shown in search results are all recalculated from the surviving set. Cards on the homepage and category pages are rebuilt from the same authoritative figure, so a listing card and its profile never disagree.
What the score is not
A rating is not a licence check, a solvency rating or a recommendation. It reflects user experience only. Regulatory and fee details shown on a profile are user-submitted or taken from the company website and are marked as not independently verified. For trading and crypto services this matters: always confirm authorisation with the relevant financial authority before depositing.
Disputes and corrections
A company that believes a review breaches the guidelines can request a review through the contact page. Genuine reviews are not removed for being negative. Factual corrections to a profile are made when supported by evidence, and the score is left to the review average rather than editorial adjustment.
